55th ANNUAL WEARIN’ OF THE GREEN
IRISH DAY PARADE AND
ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL
March 18, 2017
Erin Tennessee is the place to be on Irish Day 2017! is the theme for our 2017 Irish Day Celebration.
This summer the City of Erin completed a revitalization of the Erin Square and the entrance to Betsy Ligon Park. We have also enjoyed significant growth in attendance at our Irish Day Celebration over the last few years. For these reasons and more, change is upon us.
There has been an increase in the number of food vendors that would like to participate. The carnival, hosted by the Houston County Recreation Club, provides rides and sells fair food. Therefore, we must limit the number of food vendors who sell similar products, such as turkey legs, corn dogs, funnel cakes, and fried candy bars. Invitations will be sent to a select number of food vendors who provide fair food and have been here before. If you sell other types of food and are interested in joining us, please contact the Vendor Coordinator.
The electrical improvements to the square limit electrical service to 110V only. Vendors must submit their required amps in order to avoid overloading the circuits. The electrical service on Front Street remains unchanged and a very limited number of spaces are available for those who provide their own 220V circuit breakers.
A deadline of February 1 will be implemented this year. If you are interested in joining us, you may contact the Vendor Coordinator to see if any room remains. A list will be maintained in case of cancellations.
Vendor Guidelines – Please review these Guidelines for important information. The vendor form requires you to acknowledge you have read, understand, and agree to the Guidelines.
