Located in a scenic part of the county you'll find our airport which boasts a 3000 foot runway and hangers. Just across the street from the airport is one of Houston County's finest restaurants, Southernaire. Southernaire serves a variety of wonderful foods including pime rib, steaks, seafood, and of course Tennessee Catfish. Southernaire has rooms to rent and there are campsites nearby. Just a mile down the road is beautiful Kentucky Lake. Here you will find a pier and docks for your boats or just a place to sit, fish, and enjoy the beauty of the river. Aviation enthusiasts, who also have a passion for water sports, or just enjoy nature, we have the place for you. Come visit Houston County.

The McKinnon Airport is located 12 miles West of Tennessee Ridge, on Airport Road off Hwy 147.
