Join us for the Houston County Farmers and Artisan Market for 2021!!

Sponsored by the Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce, the Houston County Farmers & Artisan market highlights locally grown fruits, produce , small livestock,  honey, baked goods, preserves and Artisan Crafts.  The Market runs every Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm beginning on May 1. 


HC Historical Society

Check out the Houston County Historical Society!  They have interesting programs each month! 

On August 10, the Houston County Historical Society will have their meeting at the Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Members of the Church will be giving a presentation on the history of the church.  The site was the location of the original Houston County Courthouse.  Please join us as we continue to celebration the 150th Birthday of Houston County!


Irish Day Celebration 2021

It all began with the Irish Kick Off Breakfast at Erin City Hall on April 30. 
Bonnie Dunavant was selected as the Lord High Mayor. 
Our Emerald Award Winners were Denise Borens, Billy Joe Coakley, Kristi Dew, Nanette Morford, and Brenda Sugg!

The carnival will open on Tuesday, May 4!

The 59th Annual Wearin’ of the Green Irish Day Parade and Arts & Crafts Festival will be held on May 8, 2021.
