Historical Society Meeting
The Houston County Historical Society will have their annual picnic at the McCampbell's pavilion, 725 Bethany Road, Friday, May 17, beginning at 5:00. Bring a covered dish and a lawn chair. Otis Kelly will be talking about bee keeping. Visitors are welcome.

The Houston County Arts Council is sponsoring an Art Show.
"Sweet Tea and Southern Art",
July 26 - 28, 2013
hours are 10 to 4 on Fri. and Sat., 1 to 4 on Sun.
Exhibits will be at Shamrocks & Shenanigans located in Erin's Court Square
